Matthew Scott Cossin age 28, of Point Pleasant, WV ended his watch early Tuesday morning at his home in Huntington, WV,.

Matt is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Golden and Lida Cossin.

Surviving Matt leaves behind his mother; Yvette Rodgers, one brother; Ryan (Carla) Cossin, sister Hannah Pennington and half brother Jeremy Stover, three nieces; Jada Cossin, Charlotte and Amanda Little, one nephew; Ryan Cossin II, aunt and uncle Annette (Steve) Geiger and best friend Nate Sowards.

Matt began working for AEP River Operation immediately after graduating from high school and was currently working as a First Mate with now ACBL River Operations.

Matt was a big man with an even bigger heart, he had a smile that would take over any room he would enter and he always had that smile on. Matt was an avid hunter and fisherman he also loved playing the guitar. He was a very fun loving and outgoing person that enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephew.

Matt was a huge WVU fan.. he loved his Mountaineers!! He also loved simply riding around the old country back roads while listening to his music and enjoying the peaceful beauty of the country.

Services for Matt will be Saturday May 28, 2016 with visitation at the funeral home from 11-2 funeral services officiated by Pastor Marker will begin at 2 PM.
