Melvin Henry's Obituary
Melvin "Stick" Henry, 68, of Mason, WV, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at his home. He was a member of the Carpenter's Local #554 of Huntington, WV.
He was born, September 16, 1942, in Gallipolis Ferry, WV, son of the late Maggie Parsons. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by a brother, George Carper.
He is survived by his two daughters, Tammy (James) Story of Newton, NC and Debbie Crump of Point Pleasant; five grandchildren, Catherine Crump, George Crump, III, Dustin Crump, Brentney Bonecutter, James Story, III; five brothers, Ray and Barbara Carper of Henderson, WV, Larry and David Carper both of Point Pleasant, and Michael Carper and Park Parsons both of Henderson, WV and two sisters, Sheila Baird and Edna Fisher both of Henderson, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2010, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Reverend Marshall Bonecutter officiating.
