Mildred Louise McCarty 77 born September 24, 1942 of Point Pleasant WV passed away at home with her family by her side on Sunday January 12, 2020

Mildred was born in Mt. Alto WV to the late Daisy and James Riffle. Mildred attended Ravenswood High School. In 1963 she married Earl Ray McCarty in Point Pleasant WV. She worked as a Data processing supervisor at Holzer Clinic for 35 years retiring in 2007. In 1968 she and Earl welcomed a daughter Vanessa McCarty (Egnor) and in 1995 a granddaughter Alyssa Egnor.

Mildred enjoyed country music, camping, puzzles, fishing and vacationing in Pigeon Forge and Myrtle Beach. She was a member of the Bellemeade United Methodists Church.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father Daisy and James Riffle, her husband Earl McCarty in 2013, and her brother Marion Riffle.

She is survived by her loving daughter and granddaughter Vanessa Egnor and Alyssa Egnor of Point Pleasant WV, her sister Patty Flinn of Ravenswood WV, and her sister in law Shirley Riffle of Mt. Alto WV

Funeral Service will be held at Crow Hussell Funeral Home in Point Pleasant WV on Thursday January 16, 2020 at 1:00 with Pastor Chip Bennet officiating. Friends and family may visit between Noon and One. Burial will follow in the Forest Hills Cemetery in Flat Rock WV.
