Oma Marie Wamsley, 91, of Point Pleasant, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at the Hospice House in Huntington, WV. She was a homemaker.

She was born October 9, 1916 in Mason County and was the daughter of the late Charles and Tina (Brewer) Mash. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Wamsley; sons, Charles, Lewis and Timothy Wamsley; brothers, George, Cecil, Bill, James, and Charles Mash and one sister, Reba Stover.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Dick) Hensley of Long Bottom, Ohio and Shirley Chattin of Columbus, Ohio; sons, James Wamsley of Leon, WV and Ernest Wamsley of Piqua, Ohio; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; a sister, Clara Mash and a brother, Dana Mash both of Point Pleasant.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 31, 2008, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with Robert L. Patterson, II., officiating. Burial will follow in Brewer Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
