Owens Ray "Joe" Stover age 87 of Point Pleasant, WV passed away at his home on Sunday November 20, 2022.
Joe was born in Mason County, WV on March 3, 1935 to the late William "Bill"Garnet and Mary Stutler Stover, he was a memebr of a large family that learned early the value of hard work.
Besides his parents and sime siblings he is preceded in death by a son, Eugene Stover siblings; Gatha Stover, Maryann Malezewski, Hester George and his twin Johnny Stover, along with his longtime partner of 25 years and best friend, Lillian "Sue" Wood.
Joe was a kind and hardworking man that loved his family and spending his time with Sue, they would enjoy time outside, crafting and listening to music. Joe was an elcectrician by trade and worked for several companies over the years as Certified Electrician and Machinist, when he wasn't working or at Sue's side he found joy in watching and feeding birds and was an avid tinkerer, he could and would often make things out of what seemed to be nothing, he was very creative that way and could find a use for most anything.
Surving he leaves behind his children; Joseph, Ray, Carlton, Perry and Owens Stover Jr., Wilma Rollins and Ronnie Lamm, Siblings; Sade Rice, Mae (Charles) Vaughn, Clare (Ed) Morris, Pauline (Richard) Roach, Kathleen Mick and Olen "Hank" Stover and family that will all miss him in their own way.
Keeping with Joe's wishes there will not be any public services.
