Obituary

Patricia Morgan (Yeager) Painter, 74, of Point Pleasant, died Wednesday morning, February 3, 2010, at the Holzer Medical Center, in Gallipolis.

Pat was a graduate of Marshall University and was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, in Point Pleasant. She was also the owner of several Kentucky Fried Chicken franchises in the Charleston and southern West Virginia area for 32 years.

Born May 9, 1935, in Point Pleasant, she was a daughter to the late Howard L. and Annie (Lawson) Yeager. Also preceding her in death was her loving Husband, Bill Painter. Pat is survived by her children Elizabeth Morgan of Charleston, Randy Morgan and Bret Morgan, both of Point Pleasant; her step-daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and William Burgess, of Florida; her grandchildren, Justin, Autumn and Jacob Morgan; her step-grandchildren, Jeff and Christopher Burgess and her brother, Howard L. Yeager, Jr., of Columbus, OH.

Pat's life will be remembered at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 5, 2010, at the Christ Episcopal Church, 804 Main St., Point Pleasant, with Fr. Ray Hage officiating. Burial will follow at Suncrest Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the service, on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
