Patricia "Patty" Anne (Patrick) Rice age 65, of Cottageville, WV passed away at home Tuesday October 3, 2017 after a long battle with Liver Failure.

She was born July 3, 1952 in Gallipolis, Oh a daughter to the late Price Patrick and Mary C. (Boyer) Patrick. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her aunt Viola G. (Jones) Ellis.

Patty attended and was a life-long member of The First Church of The Nazarene in Point Pleasant and a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1970.

Foremost she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who enjoyed her time spent with family and friends.

Patty is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Clarence E. (Ed) Rice Jr. and their children; Clarence E (Tiger) Rice III, Richard Jeremy (Jerry) and Cindy Rice, Patricia N (Nikki) Rice, Timothy P (Tim) Rice and Brittany A. Rice as well as several grandsons, and grand-daughters.

Visitation will be Friday October 6, 2017 from 6-8 with funeral services Saturday Oct. 7, 2017 beginning at 2 PM all at the funeral home, burial will follow at The Rice Family Cemetery in Cottageville, WV.
