Peggy Jean (Hudson) Likens, age 65, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, died Monday morning, May 12, 2008, at her home. She was retired from Rockwell Automation and was active in the Southside Community Center. Peggy was born October 12, 1942, in Henderson, WV, a daughter to the late Robert and Catherine (Ord) Hudson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Park Likens.

She is survived by her step-children, Jonna and Olin Rice, of Point Pleasant, Chrystal and Ken Best, of Clarion, PA and James Ashton, Jr., of Gallipolis Ferry; three step-grandchildren, Emma Rice and Brad and Zach Best; two sisters, Juanita Cossin, of Leon and Cora Likens, of Gallipolis Ferry; four brothers, Clifford Hudson, of Henderson, Richard Hudson, of Patriot, OH, Charles "Jink" Hudson, of Gallipolis Ferry, and John Hudson, of Prospect, OH; and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 Thursday, May 15, 2008, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Birchfield officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery, Gallipolis Ferry. Visitation will be held at the funeral home two hours prior to the service. Peggy's care has been entrusted to Crow-Hussell Funeral Home.
