Ralph Amos, 80, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Monday morning, April 18, 2011, at his home. Ralph was retired from Kaiser Aluminum and was also a coal miner. Ralph had attended Grace Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. Ralph was born on March 26, 1931, in Tioga, WV, a son to the late Clark and Goldie (Bragg) Amos.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Patty (Baber) Amos; his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Michael Shuler, of New Haven; his two sons, Gary Amos, of Scott Depot and Chris Amos, of Point Pleasant; grandsons, Nathaniel Amos, David and Mary Shuler and Caleb Shuler; three great-grandchildren; and his two sisters and brothers-in-law, Opal and Paul Windle, of Lewisburg and Onalee and Al Crabtree, of Columbus.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2011, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Wiseman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., on Thursday.
