Ralph Lewis Jordan, 79, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, died Sunday morning, May 2, 2010, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was a member of Teamster's Local 413 and retired as a truck driver. He was Baptist by faith and a Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was born, December 15, 1930, in Gallipolis Ferry, WV, to the late Everett and Carrie (Dye) Jordan. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Agnes Jordan and a daughter, Cindy Gifford.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Anna (Nibert) Jordan of Gallipolis Ferry,WV; one daughter, Cheryl Ollam and one son, Ralph E. Jordan, both of Columbus, OH; one son-in-law, Jeff Gifford also of Columbus, OH; four brothers, Larry, James, Donald and Wilbur Jordan all of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; four sisters, Helen Myers, Beulah Bechtle, Jewell Durst and Phyllis Bonecutter all of Gallipolis Ferry, WV and several grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m,, Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Obetz Cemetery in Obetz, Ohio, with Warren Gifford, officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home from 5 until 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2010.
