Randy Carroll Rardin, age 66, of Southside, WV passed away surrounded by his family at home, on June 26, 2023.
He was born February 6, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Carl Evans Rardin and C. Maxine (Krebs) Rardin. He was a 1975 graduate of Ravenswood High School. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1976 and served until 1979. He married Ladonna Jean Henderson on June 2, 1987, in Point Pleasant, WV. He worked as a truck driver for J.R. Trucking and Stover Trucking for many years before retiring to pursue his love of farming. He went on to work at his wife's family farm (Henderson Dairy Farm) driving truck, planting, and helping with the cattle. He also enjoyed spending time on his personal farm with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Ladonna, of 36 years. His father-in-law H. Donald Henderson and his mother-in-law Jean Henderson. His siblings, Carla (Doug) Smith of Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Rick (Missy) Rardin of Rodney, Ohio. His children, Randy Jr., (Lorena) Rardin of Madera, California, Martha (Jeff) Watts of Wayne, West Virginia, Gari Ann (Zach) Sayre of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Seth (Jennifer) Rardin of Wayne, West Virginia, Garrett (Alison) Hudnall of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Zack (Lisa) Rardin of Fort Gay, West Virginia, and Josh (Meredith) Rardin of Southside, West Virginia. His grandchildren, Adrian DeAlba, Christopher, Korey and Jordan Watts, Madison and Wes Pearson, Sean Wilson, Logan and Jaylin Rardin, Garin and Gabe Hudnall, Ethan and Lucas Rardin, Max, Tyson, and Addy Shilot, Jace and Sadie Rardin. Special friends, Dave Hudson, Dee Stover, and Jim Henderson.
A special thank you Cris Erwin and Denae Cain, along with the rest of the ALS Team at the Clarksburg, WV Veterans Hospital.
A service honoring the life of Randy Rardin will be held at Crow Hussell Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV on June 29, 2023 at 11am. Friends may call on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm. Burial will follow the service at the family cemetery.
