Robert Lee "Bob" Drain, aged 71, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away on September 13, 2024. Born on January 17, 1953, in Steubenville, Ohio, Bob was the cherished son of the late Lowell and Iris Drain.

Bob graduated from Paden City High School in 1970 and furthered his education at West Virginia University, earning a degree in 1974. He dedicated much of his professional life to Tyler Technologies, formerly Cole-Layer-Trumble, where he worked from 1984 until his retirement in 2021 as a senior appraisal project supervisor.

He faithfully attended Calvary Baptist Church of Ravenswood, his faith deeply influenced his commitment to community service, particularly his work with local youth. He coached various youth league sports for nearly 40 years, including softball, soccer, basketball, and football, making a lasting impact on many young lives.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; children, Drew Drain of Chapel Hill, NC, Tracie Price (Travis) of Point Pleasant, Kristin Drain (Dave) of Richmond, TX, and Shauna Pearson (Ricky) of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Colby (Allie Holley) and Carter Price, Jamey and Lynlee Pearson, and Isabel Drain; brothers, Kenneth (Mary) Drain, Mark (late Peggy) Drain, and James (Kim) Drain; and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind special friends Ronnie Hickman, Jeffrey Patterson, Dennis Brumfield, Rick Eddy, and Butch Shaver. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Ruth and Andy Vegh, and his nephew Josef Drain.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Crow Hussell Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, September 16th at 11 am at the same location, with burial to follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens. Flowers are welcome but suggests donations be made in Bob's name to Point Pleasant Live Broadcasting Program.
