Robert "Bob" Taylor, 53, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away on Friday morning, November 11, 2011, at his home. Bob was a diesel mechanic at Red's Rollen Garage, in Bidwell. He loved hunting and being outdoors. He had also raced in the open wheel World of Outlaws circuit.
He was born September 3, 1958, in Columbus, a son to the late Mortimer and Cynthia A. (Riffle) Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Paula (Nibert) Taylor; sons and daughters-in-law, William and Karen Nibert, of Greenville, OH; Paul Baldridge, of North Wilkesboro, NC, Bruce Baldridge, of Greenville, OH, and Shane and Debbie Smith, of Derby, OH; a daughter, Tara Baldridge, of Gallipolis Ferry; and ten grandchildren.
Bob's life will be remembered at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Flatrock. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
