Ronnie L. (Ron) DeWeese, 55 of Leon, WV, went to be with the Lord, in the arms of angels, Friday August 24, 2012, following a long illness.

Ron is preceded in death by: his mother, Anna Mae (Smith) DeWeese, sister, Karen (DeWeese) Matheny, brother, Warren (Pudge) DeWeese, and his grandparents, Sumner & Gladys Smith and Harry & Pearl DeWeese.

He is survived by his best friend and care giver, loving sister, Donna (David) Warner, his father Warren DeWeese, half sister Angela Hatcher, his very special aunt (Mother Dear) Viola (Toots) Stone, also surviving are three children, Cathlena Fields, of Fairplain, Michelle Craig, of Leon and Jessica Knaull, of Point Pleasant; five grandchildren; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews: Heather, Rachel, Kristen, C.J., Chad, Jared, Kaitlyn and Jason Ray, along with many many friends that will deeply miss Ron.

Ron was a carpenter early in life. He was a member of God's Will Tabernacle. He loved fishing from his pontoon boat and spending time and competing with friends at the Kanawha Valley Dragway.

Ronnie was a true joy to those around him and he will be greatly missed.

Visitation for Ron will be at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, from 6pm-8pm. The funeral service will follow Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at 1PM at the funeral home with burial at the Pine Grove Cemetery. Pastor Bob Patterson will officiate.
