Rosita Sue Hoffman, age 62, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015, at the Emergency Room of Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was a homemaker and had previously worked at Gene Ball's Restaurant and as a housekeeper at Citizens National Bank. Sue was born August 4, 1952, in Mason County, a daughter to the late Robert and Mary Etta (Thomas) Carr. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Emil and Maxine Hoffman; and her sister-in-law, Brenda Hoffman.
Sue is survived by her husband, Ray Emil Hoffman; daughters and son-in-law, Tammy Sue Hoffman and Anita and Donnie Roush; grandchildren, Tiffany and Scottie Legg and Miranda Sue Swisher; great-grandson, Landon Legg; brother and sister-in-law, Robert Andrew and Phyllis Carr; niece, Lindsay Carr; nephew, Zachary Carr; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Shirley and Robert G. Cline, Emil E. and Debbie Hoffman, Bruce and Debbie Hoffman, Roy E. and Juanita Hoffman and Danny L. Hoffman; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Vickie Fisher and Gloria McCarthy.
Sue's life will be remembered at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday.
