Rush D. Finley, 83, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023, at Holzer Medical Center. He was born on May 15, 1940, in Wayne, WV, a son of the late Seiburn Finley and Emily Mae (Albright) Gravely.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Aaron Jason Finley; and two sisters, Kay and Earlene Gravely.

Rush was a retired maintenance supervisor, from AEP Gavin Plant. He and his family also owned and operated the Lowe Hotel.

Rush is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth (Stacy) Finley; children, Marcia Finley, of Point Pleasant, Craig Finley, of Point Pleasant, and Brett (Jill) Finley, Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Elizabeth Finley, Aaron Finley, Lake Finley, Lillian Finley and Peyton Finley; siblings, Jim Roger (Marie) Gravely, of Point Pleasant, Daisy Donahue, of Branchland, WV, and Tommy (Brenda) Gravely, of Pensacola, FL; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

There will be a visitation at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., with a service following, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Watson Cemetery, in Branchland, WV.  You may offer condolences to the family via this webpage.
