Ruth Ann (Roach) Cox, 87, of Point Pleasant, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, August 30, 2024, at her home. She was retired from C&P Telephone Company. She was born April 26, 1937, a daughter of the late Clarence and Thelma (Walker) Roach. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Cox; god-daughter, Debra Patterson; God granddaughter, Brittani Roush; 2 great-God grandchildren; and siblings, Alice Lewis, Viola Craigo, Cloretta Dyer, Barbara Jahn, and James Roach.

She is survived by her god-daughter, Michele Williams, of Point Pleasant; several god-grandchildren and great-god-grandchildren; siblings, George (Betty) Roach, Betty Owens, and Mary Bowles, all of Point Pleasant; sisters-in-law, Margaret Cox, of Logan, WV and Elsa Jean Roach, of Point Pleasant; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews; and extended family.

There will be a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ruth's memory to Hospice of Huntington, 3100 Staunton Ave., Huntington, WV, 25702.
