Ruth Hussell, 77, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at St. Mary's Medical Center.  Ruth was a retired secretary in Mason County Schools, where her first day at Central Elementary School was also the first day of school for her nephew, Andy.  She was born April 24, 1945, in Point Pleasant, to the late Andrew J. and Sylvia Jane (Love) Hussell.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Louis A. Hussell, Sr., Robert William Hussell, Sr., Marion Boone Hussell, Edward Joseph Hussell, and infant sister, Edna; and nieces, Donna Jo Hussell, and LuAnn Hussell.

Ruth is survived by her brother, Warren Hussell; two special nephews, Robert (Connie) Hussell, of Point Pleasant, and Andy (Abby) Hussell, of Proctorville, OH; nieces, Debbie (Bill) Hall, Deana (Lewis) Marcum, and Darlene Hussell, all of Point Pleasant; nephew, Harry Hussell, of Point Pleasant; sister-in-law, Connie Hussell; and extended family and friends.

There will be a funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in the new section of Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. You may leave condolences to the family via this webpage.
