Ruth Frances (Legg) McCoy, age 73, of Point Pleasant, passed into the arms of her Savior on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital, in Huntington. She was a homemaker throughout her life. Ruth was born on October 9, 1942, a daughter to the late Viola (Legg) Marshall. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Lou (Marshall) Likens.

Frances is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, George and Tammy McCoy, of Point Pleasant; three daughters and son-in-law, Brenda Harden, of Point Pleasant, Laurie Challans and Mary and Ron McCoy, both of Columbus; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her special friend and companion, Granville Hobbs.

Frances's life will be remembered at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the First Church of God, 2401 Jefferson Ave., in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Interment will be held privately. You may offer condolences to the family via this webpage.
