Ruth Ann (Robinson) Sayre, 87, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at her home. She was born in Portsmouth, OH, on December 25, 1935, a daughter of a late K.W. and Ruth (Bender) Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, C.J. "Jim" Sayre; and brother, Wayne Robinson.

Ruth Ann retired from the W.V. Dept. of Unemployment Security, in 1996. After retirement, she worked three years at Gallipolis Career College. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, since 1946, a charter member of the Order of Rainbow Girls, since 1948, and a member of the Women of the Moose.

She is survived by her children, Kay (Stover) Greer, Timothy (Deanna) Stover, Jill (Stover) (Daren, Jr.) Matthews; beloved grandson, Daren "D.J." Matthews; step-children, Chris (Debbie) Mahan, Cindy Hale, Kendra "Jamie" (David) Knapp; five step-grandchildren; and eight step great-grandchildren.
