Samuel Allen Nibert age 64, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away Thursday January 6, 2022, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, WV.

He was born September 15, 1957, in Mason County, WV to the Fred Nibert and Jacquelynn Bates.

Sam was a river mand spending 30 years, working as a deckhand. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents; Charles "Mose" and Maude Nibert and a grandson, James Griffith II.

He is survived by his children; James "Tony" (Cassie) Griffith I, Randi (David) Drummond, Quentin Nibert and Rikki Nibert, grandchildren; Brayden Hysell and Caylee Griffith, a brother, Fredrick "Rico" Nibert and sisters; Kelly Nibert and Ruth Bosley Lee, special neices and nephew; Jeremy Bosley, Crystal Carson, Brittany Ferris and Deana Nibert Spaulding.

Services for Samuel will be private.
