Sandra June Byrd age 69, of Milton, WV passed away on Monday February 3, 2025, at her home in Apple Grove, WV surrounded by her family.

Sandra was born March 15, 1955, in Cabell County, WV to the late Roy C. and Marjorie Adams Scarberry. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Dale Scarberry and Ronnie Eugene Scarberry both of Milton, WV.

Sandra had a love of life and a wild spirit that was always but for adventure while she was small in stature she was a firecracker that would stand her ground and always speak her mind. She loved her family and spending time with them, she was an established outdoorsman loving to fish, dig ginseng as well as yellowroot which she passed that love down to her son Dennis.

Surviving are two children; Ladonna (Scott) Freeman Powell of Milton and Dennis (Stacey) Powell of Apple Grove, WV., six grandchildren;  David Michael Powell, Dennis (Kylie) Powell, McKenzie (Raymond) Fields, Joseph Allen Floyd, Tyson Alexander Powell, Mickayla (James) Powell; one great granddaughter, Olivia May Lou Fields. Seven siblings; John (Debbie) Scarberry, Kenneth (Debbie) Scaberry, Edward (Lottie) Scarberry, Clifford (PopCorn) Scarberry, Sheila (AJ) Linkous, Dreama Scarberry Young and Anna (Roy) Scarberry, her very special companion and fur baby Scooter, special friend Aunt Peggy Black along with a slew of nieces nephews and cousins.

Services for Sandra will be Friday February 7, 2025 at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV. from 6 - 7 that evening.
