Sara Ellen Gibbs age 75 of Mason, WV passed away Monday August 29, 2022 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington WV.

She was born May 19, 1947, in New Haven, WV. a daughter to the late Roy W. Brinker Sr. and Margaret Virginia (Houscher) Brinker. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Gerold Leroy Gibbs Sr., Agetha Beth (Gibbs) King, granddaughter Tabitha Dawn VanMetre and a sister Virginia Faye Evans.

Sara was a devoted christian and loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed crafting, and collecting gnomes and angels.

Sara is survived by her daughters, Robyn Charlene (Gibbs) Bush of Point Pleasant; sons Gerold Leroy (Jenny) Gibbs Jr. of Clifton, and Harold West (Teresa) Gibbs of Letart. Brother Roy West (Rebecca) Brinker Jr. of Letart; sister Margorie Elizabeth (Clinton)  Swisher of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Trista (John) Ferguson, Natasha (Joseph) Scowden, Mariah (Matt Whiteside) Toler, Trenton (Kourtney Lawrence) Gibbs, Hunter Bush, Emma Gibbs, Siera Bush, Ansley Gibbs and Kayla Farley, great grandchildren; Burkley and Braylee Ferguson, Griffin Toler, Kyrie and Kolston Gibbs, nephews; Terry Boggs, Troy Boggs, Timmy Swisher, Roy Brinker Jr. and Christopher Brinker, nieces; Kim Narian and Stephanie (Swisher) Hatfield along with several other nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Sara at the Christian Brethern Fellowship Hall in Mason, WV on Sunday September 4, 2022 from 2 - 4 for family and friends.
