Saundra Christine Randolph age 71 of Leon, WV passed away peacefully at her home on Monday March 24, 2025, with her family at her side.

Saundra was born in Point Pleasant, WV on March 7, 1954, to the late Harold and Florence (DeVault) Shirley, besides her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of more than 30 years, Douglas Lee Randolph and two brother; Pinkney Shirley and Harold Shirley.

She was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School and a proud United States Air Force Veteran, after returning from her honorable service to her country she met Douglas, and they settled down in Leon, where they raised their little family. Saundra was a very active and hard-working woman, a devoted wife and loving mother. She loved to work around the house in her award-winning flower gardens as she would often display and win the flower entries at The Mason County Fair.

Outside of the home she worked various jobs, lastly, she worked many years as a custodian for The Mason County Schools System, she was a devoted Christian and attended both Harvey Chapel and Gospel Lighthouse churches where she would also play piano.

Surviving she leaves behind two sons: Douglas Brooks (Staci) Randolph and Rowdy Lee Randolph, two granddaughters. Brooklynn and BriAnn Randolph and one sister, Susan Knopp.

There will be a graveside service for Saundra on Thursday March 27, 2025, at 2 PM at the Morgan Cemetery in Leon with full military honors.
