Obituary

Sheila Ann (Sargent) Sheets, age 54, of Gallipolis Ferry and formerly of Bidwell, OH, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 2, 2014, at her home. Sheila was a member of the Meigs Christian Center, in Pomeroy and had worked for AT&T and also the Gallipolis City and Gallia County Local School Districts, as a substitute aide. She was born February 5, 1960, in Cincinnati, OH, a daughter to Robert Cecil and Ann Elizabeth (Ross) Sargent, of Inverness, FL and Rutland, OH. Preceding her in death was her grandson, Rylan Blake Dent.

In addition to her parents, Sheila is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Elisabeth and Jason Lloyd, of Gallipolis Ferry, Carrie and Andrew Cremeans and Autumn and Brian Mitchell, all of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Gavin Frush, Byron Bryant, Allison Lloyd, Aiden and Nedia Cremeans, Charlee Heater, forthcoming grandchild, Baby Mitchell and Alexis, Kaitlin and Ashlee Lloyd; and sister, Judith Sargent, of Clearwater, FL.

When it comes to women, Sheila was among the best. If you were privileged to know her personally then you experienced firsthand what true kindness was. Always going not just one extra mile but ten, she was a true servant. She touched the lives of so many and we here on earth have suffered a tremendous loss. She, on the other hand is experiencing this scripture firsthand, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing". (II Timothy 4:7,8 NKJV)

Sheila's life will be remembered at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2015, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Deacon Bob Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in the Miles Cemetery, in Rutland, OH. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
