Sherman Marion Jordan Jr. was born Feb. 5, 1966 in Point Pleasant, WV to Sherman Marion Jordan Sr., and Juanita (Matheny) Jordan and he completed his life journey on Oct. 29, 2017 at his home in Leon.

Sherman was a beloved father, husband, grandfather, son and uncle. He was an avid hunter, member of the American Farm Pullers, a faithful volunteer at the Bend Area Jubilee, and enjoyed playing bass guitar with The Rollins Family as well as attending Harvey Chapel Church.

He is preceded in death by hid grandparents Melvin and Stacy (Cossin) Matheny and Oscar Bea and Mary Jordan., his father Sherman Marion Sr., brother Steven Jordan and nephews Joshua and Jared Taylor.

He is survived by his wife Joanna (Wilson) Jordan, mother Juanita (Matheny) Jordan children; Amanda (Larry) Crum, Rachel Jordan and Sherman (Erica) Jordan, step-children; Stephen (Karlee)Holley and Andrew (Katie) Holley. Grandchildren; Peyton Crum, Gavin Casto, Brandon, Coulson and Aleyna Jordan, Easton Holley and Khloie Peck. Brothers Leonard (Annette) Taylor, Harold (Dorothy) Taylor, John Taylor and ERic (Angela) Taylor as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday November 2, 2017 at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home from 6-8. Funeral services officiated by Jimmie Jordan will be Friday November 3, 2017 at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Leon, WV.
