Shirley Spears age 76 of Point Pleasant, passed away at her home early Sunday morning August 30, 2015.

Shirley was born December 5, 1938 daughter to the late Carl and Viola (Wheeler) Neal, besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Carl Neal Jr., her mother and father in-law, Carl and Jewel Spears and a sister-in-law, Janet Neal.

Shirley's biggest accomplishment was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister ,daughter and niece. Shirley enjoyed bringing her family together for birthdays, holidays, vacations, cookouts, camping or just because. She always filled her family with love and laughter and she taught them how to share and enjoy each other everyday of their lives. In addition to her family and her Avon sales for 49 years Shirley was a huge WVU Mountaineer fan. She is most definitely one of their biggest fans!

Shirley leaves behind her loving husband Robert Spears, son Robert L.(Terri) Spears of Charleston, WV, daughter, Natalie Lynn (Ray) Escue, grandchildren; Whitney Spears, Bridget Lynn (Michael) Harmon and T.J.(Sarah) Escue, great-grandchildren Eli Taylor Harmon and Ava Lynn Harmon. A sister Donna Lee Tucker, brother Richard Neal, one sister-in-law, Betty J (Gordon) Phillips of Crosshills, SC. along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will deeply miss her.

Visitation will be Wednesday September 2 from 6-8 with the funeral conducted by Minister Bill Deem on Thursday September 3, 2015 beginning at 1 PM at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home.
