Sloane Penelope Barrett, daughter of Brenna McGraw and Steven Barrett, of Kanawha City, WV, was born sleeping at 9:45 a.m., on October 6, 2023, at CAMC Women and Children's Hospital, in Charleston.

Sloane is survived by her grandparents, Patty McDaniel, J.C. and Christi McGraw, of Point Pleasant, Janet Queen and Kevin Barrett, of Charleston, WV; aunts and uncles, Mason and Casey McGraw, and Maddox McDaniel, of Point Pleasant, Rhiannon and Cody Riffle, of Gallipolis, Thomas McGraw, of Point Pleasant, Jarrod and Kelsey Durst, of Lancaster, OH, Nate and Jade Queen, of Dunbar, WV, and Ariel Hill, of Charleston, WV. Also surviving are great-grandparents, John and Sharon McGraw, of Point Pleasant; and many other extended family.
