Sonya Dawn (Byus) Parsons age 56 of Southside, WV passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday November 30, 2024.

Sonya was born in Point Pleasant, WV., June 23, 1968 to Jerry Byus Jr. and the late Glenna Byus. She was a devoted mother, nana, and friend.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years Scott Parsons, son Zach ( Tiffany Zimmerman) Parsons, daughter Caitlyn (Eli) Kimberling, granddaughter Brooklyn Kimberling her father Jerry Byus and brother David (Lori) Byus.

Services for Sonya will be Friday December 6, 2024 at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 with visitation from 12:00 until the time of the funeral. Burial will follow at Beech Hill Cemetery in Southside.
