Stanley Cyril Higgs, 62, of Point Pleasant, found his way home to the Lord while surrounded by his loving family Friday, May 26, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was married to, and is survived by the "love of his life", Peggy Higgs.

Born November 17, 1954 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Joseph Richard Higgs and the late Thelma Bershers Lloyd. He was a loving and devoted husband, father "Daddy", and grandfather "PopPop". Mr. Higgs was a member of Rio Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, John Christian Fowler, James Thomas Fowler, and George Joseph Higgs and two sisters, Florence Higgs Sturm and Dorothy Mae Hall.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Higgs is survived by two children, Joseph Eugene Higgs of Point Pleasant, and Andrea Kristen Snyder (Brad) of Gallipolis, Ferry; five grandchildren, Riley, Jenna, Addison, Bailey and Raegan; three brothers, Francis Leroy Fowler (Donna), David Roland Fowler (Debbie), Richard Leroy Higgs (Darla) and four sisters, Mildred Ann Holt (Jimmy), Margaret Johnson, Audrey Lynn Moran, and Linda Marie Hapeman (Paul).

Mr. Higgs' life will be remembered at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Following the committal at the cemetery, everyone is invited to share in a meal together at the Henderson Church of Christ, on Locust St., in Henderson.
