Tamara Mead Woolum age 67 of Letart, WV passed away at her home in Letart after a brief illness on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

Tamara was born on April 16, 1958, in Huntington, WV to Billy Joe Mead and Yvonne Webb Mead.

She is a 1976 graduate of Marion Harding High School where after graduation she took her first job in the office of the school. She soon moved on and began working at Marion General Hospital and married the love of her life Jackie Woolum.

She is preceded in death by her father Billy Joe Mead.

Tamara is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jackie Woolum; daughter Amber Noel; her mother, Yvonne Mead; and one brother, Anthony Joe Mead. Also surviving is a very close family friend, Robert Russell

Tamara was hardworking and a very caring. She loved her family and enjoyed crafting and caring for her cats.

Services for Tamara will be private at her request.
