Thomas "Jack" Hill, Jr., age 89, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. Jack was retired from Kaiser Aluminum and was a U.S. Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict, serving on the U.S.S. Corregidor. Jack was a faithful member of the First Church of God and enjoyed trout fishing.

Jack was born September 27, 1928, in Clarksburg, a son to the late Thomas J. and Bessie B.(Wiggins) Hill. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia (Moodispaugh) Hill; and his siblings.

Jack is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and Dr. Jay Martin, of Columbus, OH; sons and daughter-in-law, Dr. Roger and Dr. Kueichien Hill, of Springboro, OH and Richard Hill, of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Aileen Hill, Jacob and Meg Martin, Dr. Elizabeth and Jordan Hansen, Caleb Martin, Nathan Martin, Ashlynn and John Bryan and Jessilynn Hill; one great-granddaughter, Junia Martin; and special friend, Glenda Simpkins.

Jack's life will be remembered at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Patterson and Rev. Carl Swisher officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made in Jacks' memory to one of the following: Total Health, P.O.
