Obituary

Tiffany Janae Grant age, 26, of Point Pleasant, WV, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday evening January 20, 2014 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV due to injuries she sustained in a tragic house fire in which two of her baby brothers were critically injured, unfortunately causing one's previous decease.



She was born on June 19, 1987 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert Steven Gamble Grant and LaTanya (Anderson) Smith. She was a member of Paint Creek Baptist Church. She was a 2005 graduate of Point Pleasant High School, where she was a member of the band and National Honor Society. She was also a recipient of the Promise Scholarship and Presidential Scholarship both of which she used to attend Marshall University. She was also a member of the Marshall Marching Thunder Band where she continued to play the clarinet. She had previous employment at Golden Corral, Wendy's and Bob Evans. She was preceded in death by her father, Gamble Grant; her grandparents, Bill and Margaret Grant and her brother Braxton Smith.



She is survived by two daughters, Alexa Nance and Maci Ferguson; one parent, LaTanya D. (Bill) Smith; one sister, Adrianne Jade (A.J.) Grant; two brothers, Tyler Grant and William Larken Smith III (Tre); grandparents Christopher E. (Pete) and Sharon Anderson; one great-grandmother Roberta Preston; Uncles Shaun (Nicole) Grant, Daniel Roberts, Christopher E. (Pete) Anderson, Jr, Christopher Bryan Smith and Noah J. Smith; Aunts, Joan Roberts, Inez M. (Michael) Whitt, Melissa D. Smith and Melinda D. (Smith) Neal; Nephews, Jonah and Jace Downer. She is also survived by several great uncles and aunts; many special cousins, friends and loved ones.

Tiffany and Braxton's life will both be celebrated together on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at the Point Pleasant High School Auditorium, with Tiffany's father, Bill Smith and Christian Scott, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
