Travis Allen Shrewsbury, 29, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away Wednesday , April 12 , 2023 in Bridgeport, WV .

He was bo rn June 22, 1993, in Winston-Salem, NC,  the son of Glen Shrewsbury of Pilot Mountain, NC and Sandra (Johnny) Puckett of Mt. Airy, NC.

Travis was a graduate of East Surry High School Class of 2012 and was employed as a painter for Conley Painting.

He is survived by his parents, Glen Shrewsbury and Sandra Puckett, his partner Jeannette Oliver, daughter Dylan Rae Shrewsbury, brother Cody Shrewsbury, niece Tyler Rey Hernandez,  and many other loving friends and family.  Travis was proceeded in death by his youngest brother, Tyler Shrewsbury.

Travis had a smile that would light up a room and his laugh, oh, that laugh, you couldn't help but smile when you heard it.  He loved hunting and could always be found at the river with a couple poles in the water.  He had a kind soul, was the best tire-swing pusher according to his honorary Oliver family nieces, had a huge heart and deeply loved his family.  His daughter Dylan Rae was his pride and joy.  He loved spending time with her outdoors, taking walks, exploring the woods, and was her savior from all the spiders and bugs.  Always the great fisherman, his best catch was his partner, Jeannette Oliver.  They loved spending time together at the river and watching their favorite tv shows.  They were lovingly devoted to each other for 5 years and their most wonderful accomplishment was their beautiful daughter, Dylan.

Travis is now at peace and will be deeply missed. He was loved by many who will continue to cherish the time and memories they have of him. It will be these memories they share with Dylan that will allow her to grow up knowing what a loving and kind man her father was.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV.  Burial will follow at Creston Cemetery in Leon, WV.  Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00, Tuesday at the funeral home.
