Obituary

Vance D. Cline, 75, of Leon, passed away on Saturday night, April 22, 2017, at his home, with his family by his side.

Vance was born October 24, 1941 in Gallipolis, Oh. son to the late Lloyd and Lula Cline.

He retired for M&G polymers where he work in the maintenance Dept. and also retired as Owner / Operator of Cline Plumbing and Heating where he spent many years working evenings and weekends after his shifts at M&G.

Vance was a devoted husband and father and when he wasn't working or spending time with his family or working around the farm he would be found growing his collection of Oliver Farm Equipment and toys. He was also the founding member of The American Farm Pullers Association, a member of the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church and attended Leon United Methodist Church.

Vance is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Dunham Cline, daughter; Diane Cline (Steven) Dorsey, of Hurricane, WV. son; Joe (Tamara) Cline of Scot Depot, WV. grandkids; Alex and Stephanie Dorsey, and Holt and Hendrix Cline, his brother; Robert (Bob) Cline and wife Shirley of Point Pleasant, WV, sister; Emogene Wamsley of Cinicnnati, Oh.

Besides his parents Vance is preceded in death by a sister, Doris Halstead of St. Albans, WV.

Visitation for Vance will be Monday April 24, 2017 at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home from 6-8. A graveside service will follow at Pine Grave Cemetery in Leon, WV on Tuesday April 25, 2017 at 11:00 officiated by Bill Crawford and David Minturn.
