Viola J. (Swisher) Watson, 77, of Henderson, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, October 26, 2013, at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God, in Point Pleasant.

Viola was born February 23, 1936, in Kingtown, a daughter to the late John F. and Laura (Simpkins) Swisher. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Arnold "Spuds" Watson; brother, Michael Swisher; sister, Vonnie Mae Dennis; three infant brothers; and her in-laws, Jack E. "Mickey" Watson, Daryl Clark.

Viola is survived by her son, Arnold F "Arnie" Watson, of Ohio; daughter and son-in-law, Robert "Bobby" and Shelia Kay "KayBug" Smith, of Henderson, granddaughters, Elizabeth and Scott Petry, Sara E. Watson, April Tianna Joy "Tion" Neal and Regina Renee Patterson; grandson, Tony Michael and Joyce (Terrana) Cox; great-grandchildren, Noah Elijah Jayce Watson, Samantha and Gillian Petry; sisters, Karen Lemley and Elizabeth "Janie" Swisher; brothers, Chuck Swisher, Sheik Swisher and Carl "Boxer" Swisher; and her sister-in-law, Peggy Clark.

Visitation will be held at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a memorial service following at 7:00 p.m., with Tony Cox officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to contribute toward funeral expenses.
