Virgil Raymond Patterson, Jr., 57, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV passed away near his home, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. He was born December 10, 1967, in Washington Courthouse, Ohio, a son to Virgil R. Patterson, Sr., of Gallipolis Ferry, and the late Joanne (Gillispie) Patterson. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Goldie Long; grandparents, Junior and Effie Siders, Bill and Virginia Siders, Kelly Meadows; special aunt and uncle, Raymond and Edith Fisher; and nephew, Johnny Patterson.

In addition to his father, Raymond is survived by his sisters, Connie Johnson, of Point Pleasant, Effie Ferguson and Ginnie Ramsey, both of Gallipolis Ferry, and Judy Denais, of Louisiana; and brothers, Carl Patterson and Donnie Patterson, both of Gallipolis Ferry.
