Walter William Donahue, age 83, of Chillicothe, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 9, 2014. He was a member of Maple Grove Christian Union Church, Chillicothe, and 36 year employee of Kaiser Aluminum and a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean Conflict.

Born May 24, 1931, in Ambrosia, WV, he was the son of the late Jesse M. and Emma L. (Wilson) Donohue. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Kathryn (VanMeter) Donohue and two brothers, Jesse J, and John C. Donohue, Point Pleasant, WV, two infant brothers, and four sisters, Opal Escue, Garnette Donohue, Gretchen Connolly, and Adda Baker, all of Point Pleasant.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Skaggs Donohue, two sons, James Robert (Bob) and Anita Donohue of Point Pleasant, and Todd William and Linda Donohue of Gallipolis, Oh, a daughter, Brenda Redeagle, of Alexandria, IN; two stepsons, Stan and Mary Skaggs of Chillicothe, and Ben (Lisa) Skaggs, Springburrow, Oh. six grandchildren, Shawn Donohue, Cameron Nott, Kathryn Nott Lisby, Cameron Skaggs, and Jessica Donohue, five step grandchildren, Jason Skaggs, Andrea Whitter, Kyle Skaggs, Cameron Skaggs, and Kelsey Mygatt, along with several great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Walter's wishes, there will be no public services. Burial will be held privately in Suncrest Cemetery, in Point Pleasant. You may offer condolences to the family via this webpage.
