Wanda Gail (Johnson) Whitt 90, of Gallipolis, passed away early Sunday morning February 24, 2013 at Arbors of Gallipolis.

Wanda was born April 13, 1922 to the late Walter and Ora (McCallister) Johnson, besides her parents Wanda is preceeded in death by an infant sister; Vera Mae Johnson, brother Walter F. Johnson Jr., her first husband Dallas O. Carney, and second husband Ted Whitt.

She is survived by her two sons William and Linda Carney, and Gary Carney, grandson Daniel Carney, three stepdaughters Cindy and John Richardson,Candy Sommers, and Lana Whitt also surviving are 2 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.

Wanda was the manager of the Shoppers Mart store in Point Pleasant for many years, she was also a loving hard working homemaker loving mother and grandmother. She attended the First Church of God in Gallipolis Ohio and enjoyed traveling and attending mayor league baseball games with her family.

Services for Wanda will be held at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home on Thursday February 28, 2013 from 6-8 pm with the funeral service held on Friday March 1, 2013 at 1pm. Burial will follow at the Mt. Union Cemetery in Pliny, WV.
