William H. "Bill" Weigand Jr., 85, passed from this life on Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.  He was retired from the West Columbia Post Office, where had been postmaster.  He also worked at the Philip Sporn and Foote Mineral Plants, in New Haven.  He spent much of his time at the Goodwill Store and auctions (junk stores as he called them).

He was born June 15, 1935, in Letart, a son of the late William H. and Ina (Frazier) Weigand.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his siblings, Howard, Daniel, Kenneth and John Weigand, Leonna Boyer, Genevieve Norris, Laura Roush, Thelma Sayre, Delphine Weigand; nephew, Gerald Weigand; and niece, Donna Deal.

Bill is survived by nieces and nephews, Shirley (Brian) Billings, Leo (Jeanie) Roush, Howard (Mitchie) Boyer, Sharon Boyer, Dorothy and Nelson Click, Donnie (Connie) Roush, Marlene Roush (Glen Keesee), JoAnn Rainey and Brenda (Mike) Smith; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; special great-nephew, Josh Billings; sister-in-law, Pearl Weigand; and special neighbors, Darlene Yonker and Vicki Lynn Gabritch.

There will be a graveside service for Bill at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Oak Grove Cemetery, in Letart.  There will be no public visitation.  Social distancing will be observed and face coverings are required.  Crow-Hussell Funeral Home has been entrusted with Bill's care and the care of his family.  You may offer condolences by visiting: www.crowhussellfh.com .
