William R. Capehart, 75, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL, with his loving wife at his side.

Bill was born November 18, 1937, son to the late Frank Howard Capehart Jr. and Janet Slayter Capehart in Parkersburg, WV.

Bill is a veteran on the United States Air Force and spent many years traveling with his work in distribution for many companies to include VP of Distribution for NAPA and several others. While living in Baton Rouge, La Bill was named Deacon of The Parkview Baptist Church, he also served as Deacon of the Lakeland Baptist Church in Lewisville, Tx. Bill loved working with the church and took pride in his role as Deacon and never stopped working for the church.

Bill was a very hard working and loving man that will be greatly missed by those close to him.

Surviving is his loving wife Sonja "Soni" Capehart, three beautiful daughters, Lisa Capehart, Staci Capehart, and Cathy Jo Hood, four wonderful grandchildren that he was very proud of; Dillon Hulse, Nadia Capehart, Melanie Millsap, and Kristopher Hood, and two brothers, Frank Howard Capehart III, and Jim Capehart.

Services for Bill have been entrusted to Crow-Hussell Funeral Home of Point PLeasant Wv, and will be held at the Creston Cemetery in Leon, Saturday April 6, 2013 at 2PM with Rev. Jim Kelly officiating and full military honors to follow. There will not be any visitation, only the graveside service.
