William "Ray" Carper, age 79, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 17, 2026, surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 until 12:00. 

Funeral service officiated by Pastor Joe Nott will begin at 12:00, and burial will follow at Concord Cemetery, in Henderson, WV.
