Obituary

William Keith Martyn, age 41 of Point Pleasant, went home to be with his lord and savior Monday May 6, 2013 at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant Wv.

William Keith Martyn was born April 5, 1972 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late William K Martyn, and Doris Glover Martyn. Besides his father Keith is preceded in death by his grandparents, Nora and Samuel Glover and Ruth and Albert Martyn, as well as one sister  Vanessa Haley.

Keith was a very fun loving and caring man that always had a smile on his face, and could sure put a smile on the faces of those he came into contact with, Keith loved his family including his church family and was always stepping up when help was needed. He was a member of the New Beginnings Church on SandHill rd. and wore many hats while attending such as; Sunday school teacher, trustee, Chairman of the Benevalance committee, sound tech, and the "Unofficial superintendent of the New building construction"  Keith also attended Soul Harvest with his wife Kelly which he truly loved and enjoyed.

Keith worked at Ponderosa until the point he almost burned it down, and attended DeVry Tech.  and went to work for Amhurst Madison Coal as an engineer.

Besides his mother, Keith is survived by his loving wife Kelly, one son Zachary Thomas daughter, Tabitha Thomas and Clint Stover, his pride and joy grandson to be Barrett Stover, father-in-law Albert Scarberry, brothers and sisters, Dennis Martyn, Lynn Stapelton, Janette and Mike Beckley, Yvette Nibert, Danny and Karissa Martyn, Marcy Martyn, Summer Martyn, and Jason Martyn. Sister and brother in-law Kim and Richard Hairston, special best friend Libby Wroten, and numerous aunts uncle, cousins and friends that will all miss him dearly.

Visitation will be Thursday May 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Beginnings Church in Point Pleasant with the memorial service beginning at 11. In Lieu of Flowers it was Keith's wish that donations be made to St. Jude's in his honor.
