William H. Rardin III (Billy), 56, of Hurricane, WV passed away on July 4th, 2014 at his home. Billy was born December 16, 1956 in Gallipolis, Ohio. He graduated from Point Pleasant High School in 1976 where he served as Class President, National Honor Society and All Southern Football. From 1978-1979 he served as the National President of the Children of the American Revolution. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1981 with a B.S. in Commerce. In 1984 he graduated from the WVU College of Law and served as Class President and a representative to the American Bass Association for WVU.

Billy served as a Law Master for the 29th Judicial Circuit, Prosecuting Attorney for Putnam County, General Counsel for the WV Department of Compensation, Fraud Prosecutor in the Office of the Inspector General and General Counsel for the Insurance Commissioner.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Jean Rardin of Englewood, Florida, Children Dana and Harrison, Granddaughter Kelsey, Brother Jim (Bev) and niece Jamie.

A graveside service was held on July 9th at Kirkland Memorial Garden in Point Pleasant. Memorial may be made to the Point Pleasant Stadium Committee in care of Mario Liberatore, 328 Viand Street, Pt. Pleasant, WV 25550
