Willie J. Lane, 82, of Hartford, WV, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Arbors of Pomeroy. He was retired from WV Malleable Iron and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was a godly man who loved the Lord and served Him by driving the church bus for many years. He was born April 25, 1943, in Point Pleasant, a son to the late Robert Lane and Essie Parsons.

Willie is survived by his children, Johnni Harper, of Hartford, Michael (Monica) Lane, of Mason, and Willie Lane, of Middleport, OH; grandchildren, Erica (Jon), Candy (Morgan), Jessica (Paul), Dustin (Misty), Robert, Anthony (Brittany); several great-grandchildren; brother, Roy (Donna) Lane, of Gallipolis, OH; and many other extended family and friends.

There will be a funeral service at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church, with Pastor Jon Pinson officiating. Burial will follow in Zerkle Cemetery, Letart. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
