Wilma June Nibert, 93, of Point Pleasant passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center.

June was born on December 1, 1931, at Arlee, WV. daughter to the late Willard Benton Caudill and Carrie Ellen (Dabney) Caudill.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband CW2 Retired Fredrick Nibert; brothers, Marvin Dale Caudill, Worthy Sylvester Caudill, Grover Russell Caudill, Harry Dabney Caudill (KIA WW II, December 1944), John Henry Caudill and Dallas Lee Caudill; sister, Garnett Allbright Pearson, Jewell Bordman and Margie Kinnard.

She is survived by a stepson David (Tina) Nibert, of Point Pleasant, stepdaughter Debi (Rick) Roach, of Gallipolis, OH. step grandchildren Jami Nibert of Pittsburg, Scott Nibert, Point Pleasant, Lindsay Nibert, Huntington, WV, special niece Vana (David) Yost and special nephew Stan (Barbara) Bordman. Numerous nieces and nephews who were so devoted to her. She loved each and every one of them with all of her heart.

June was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She graduated from Point Pleasant High School class of 1950 where she was a majorette. She loved going to the Alumni Reunions. June was a very social person. she enjoyed talking and getting to know the staff at Pleasant Valley Healthcare. In her eyes, they became part of her family. She was a volunteer at Rivers Health where she had accumulated over 40 years of service. She served in several capacities in the organization.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV with Pastor Dean Warner officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 at the funeral Home. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens.
