Obituary

Worthy Wayne "Hop" Love, 80, of Southside, West Virginia, died Sunday evening, November 4, 2007, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He worked 40 years and had retired from AEP River Transportation, as a deckhand. He had also attended Hambrick Church.

Born, November 13, 1926, in Mason County, West Virginia, he was the son of the late George and Garnett (Bechtel) Love. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Drexel Frost; his second wife, Della Love, brothers, George "Bunk" Love and Roy Love and sisters, Thelma Love and Evagene Fowler.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia H. (Myers) Love of Southside, West Virginia; one son, Kenneth Wayne Love of Glascow, West Virginia; one step-son, Stan (Dale) Williamson of Southside, West Virginia; two step-daughters, Sharon (Joe) Antal and Betty Jo (Bill) Simpkins all of Point Pleasant; four sisters, Marie Boling, Geraldine Ridgway and Jackie Keeton all of Canton, Ohio and Margie Meadows of Gallipolis Ferry, West Virginia; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with Reverends Isaiah Crump and and Monty Foster, officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, Henderson, West Virginia. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the funeral home.
