Yvonne M. "Bonnie Mae" Dennis, of Pomeroy, OH, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was a homemaker and had attended the Old Kyger Freewill Baptist Church. She was born to the late John and Laurah (Simpkins) Swisher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Daniel Chapman, George Curry; and her brother, Michael Swisher.

Bonnie Mae is survived by her husband, John Dennis; four daughters, Cheryl Ann Swisher and Dorothy Jayne Brooks, both of Cheshire and Freeda Chandler and Carla DeWeese, both of Mason, WV; twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Sheik Swisher and George Swisher, both of Ulee, FL, Elizabeth Jane Swisher, of Point Pleasant, Viola Watson, of Henderson, Karen Lemley, of Pomeroy and Carl "Boxer" Swisher, of Gallipolis Ferry; and also many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie Mae's life will be remembered at 6:00 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2013, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with her brother, Pastor Carl Swisher officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
