Meet Our Caring Staff
The staff members of Crow-Hussell Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of funeral service professionals.
Scott Justus
Co-Owner and General Manager
Scott is a 1991 graduate of North Gallia High School, and after graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corps as a Military Police Officer. While in training, he was selected to serve as a Presidential Security Guard, for HMX-1 Marine Helicopter Squadron. This is an honor that very few receive. While with HMX-1, Scott served both President George Bush, as well as President Bill Clinton, providing physical security, both state side and abroad. Upon honorable discharge form the Marine Corps, Scott went to work for the United States Postal Service, where he was promoted to Postmaster. While Postmaster of Middleport Ohio, Scott found his true calling, while working part-time for Fisher Funeral Homes. Scott resigned his Postmaster position to pursue a career as a funeral director. He began here at Crow-Hussell in 2008 and was promoted to General Manager in 2011. Scott received his general studies from Marshall University, and A.I.U. He is enrolled at AAMI Funeral Director and Embalmers School in New York. Upon graduation, he will be licensed in both West Virginia, and New York. Scott is married to Andrea (Rice) Justus. Andrea and her family are lifetime residents of Point Pleasant and Andrea is a first grade teacher at Point Pleasant Primary. They have one child, McKeehan Scott Justus. He attends PPIS. Scott is a member of LifeSpring Baptist Church, The Marine Corps League, The American Legion, and the VFW to name a few. He is also very active with the youth of Mason County. Scott and his family are committed to providing the highest quality of service to our community in times of need. “It is truly an honor and a privilege to be entrusted with your loved ones in this time of need.”

Robert L. Patterson, II
Co-Owner and Licensee-in-Charge
Bob is a co-owner of the funeral home and is also the licensed funeral director-in-charge. Bob has been employed with the funeral home since 1992. He is a 1994 graduate of Point Pleasant High School and also a 1999 graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, where he served as Class President. Bob is married to Adria Patterson, and they have two children, a daughter, Isabella Grace and a son, Kamron Joel.

Ed Parrish
Pre-need and Aftercare Specialist
Ed Parrish serves as our pre-need and aftercare specialist. Ed joined the staff of Crow-Hussell Funeral Home in December, 2025. His area of expertise is guiding families through the process of pre-planning funeral arrangements and also providing aftercare guidance to help families with the life adjustments once the funeral service is over. Ed, and his wife, Maria, reside in Leon, WV.
